On December 17, the second (presentation) stage of the University Student Research Competition for the 2025/2026 academic year took place via Zoom in the “Psychology” section.

On December 17, the second (presentation) stage of the University Student Research Competition for the 2025/2026 academic year took place via Zoom in the “Psychology” section.

Among the award recipients was Volodymyr Mashyr, Head of the Department of Sports Psychology, Psychology of Victory, Mental Resilience, Psychophysical Rehabilitation, and Body-Oriented Psychotherapy in High-Performance Sport at the NGO “Institute for the Development of Practical Psychology.”

He was awarded Second Place for his research project titled:
“An Original Methodology for the Psychological Training of Athletes in Individual and Team Sports.”

The research was highly praised by the эксперт panel for its relevance, scientific novelty, and practical applicability. It presents an original approach to psychological training that integrates the специфіка both individual and team sports disciplines. The methodology is currently undergoing practical implementation and validation within the context of international sports competitions.

 

This achievement reflects the Institute’s strategic mission to develop and implement innovative psycho-pedagogical solutions in the fields of sport, mental health, and social adaptation.
