Participation in a
Round Table Discussion
On March 16, 2018, a Round Table discussion titled
“The Absence of the Father’s Role: Consequences and Ways of Overcoming the Challenge”
was held in Zaporizhzhia.
The event was organized by the Department of Sports, Family and Youth of the Zaporizhzhia City Council at the initiative of the International Center of Fatherhood (Acting Director – S.V. Tsvetkov).

“The Absence of the Father’s Role: Consequences and Ways of Overcoming the Challenge”
was held in Zaporizhzhia.
The event was organized by the Department of Sports, Family and Youth of the Zaporizhzhia City Council at the initiative of the International Center of Fatherhood (Acting Director – S.V. Tsvetkov).
Ludmyla Marchenko, Head of the Department of Preschool Pedagogy, Child and Adolescent Psychology, shared her reflections:
“I am deeply encouraged by society’s attention to such a critically important issue. The meeting brought together professionals from diverse fields: education specialists, psychologists, legal experts, police representatives, and members of various NGOs who care about this topic.
As an educator, psychologist, and an engaged member of society, I find this issue profoundly significant. I was pleased to present my report and to listen to like-minded colleagues. During the Round Table, we exchanged experience, engaged in discussion, and outlined directions for future cooperation and joint initiatives.
